The slope:m=
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)= (8-5)/(-1-2)= (3)/(-3)=-1
Then the point slope form of the line is:
y - y1 = m ( x- x1), for the point ( 2, 5 ) or x1=2, y1=5
y - 5 = - ( x - 2 )
Thank you.
