The perimeter of the resulting triangle that is dilated by a scale factor of 0.5 would be 15 units. I got this answer by simply multiplying the scale factor of .5 to 30 units, thus, yielding a perimeter of 15. This further means that the triangle is smaller in scale compared to the original.
