what is an equation of the line that passes through the point (2, 4) and is perpendicular to the line whose equation is 3y = 6x +3

Hello,

3y=6x+3 has as slope 2.
The perpendicular has the slope m*2=-1==>m=-1/2
The searched line has for equation y-4=-1/2(x-2) or y=-x/2+5
