it’s pretty much a special way of writing an equation of a line. it’s another way of writing y=mx+b. it’s Ax+By=C where a b and c are all real numbers and a and b are both not 0.the requirements can depend on what your doing but technically they are real numbers they are most often used as integers and to keep the a positive.also a b and c are usually required to not share common factors
