When it comes to civil disobedience, Ezra Pound was a poet/ critic who had been charged by treason by his homeland. Because of his experience in Italy, Pound had blamed capitalism and the United States of the chaos that had been going on. He had supported Fascism, Mussolini and Hitler as he continues to express his thoughts against the Jews, the United States. He was imprisoned in 1945 and was sent to an asylum after he had a mental breakdown in his cell.
