192=(9+x)(13+x)
solve
expand
192=117+22x+x^2
minus 192 both sides
0=x^2+22x-75
factor
0=(x-3)(x+25)
set to zero

x-3=0
x=3

x+25=0
x=-25
not possible since that gives negative legnths and widhs

increased by 3

shorter is 9
9+3=12
