f(x)=4x-5

g(x)=6x-3

2f(x)+3g(x)

Replace f(x)and g(x) by the functions and solve

2 (4x-5) + 3 (6x-3)

Apply distributive property:

2(4x) + 2 (-5) + 3 (6x) + 3 (-3)

8x - 10 + 18x - 9

Combine like terms

8x + 18x - 10 - 9

26x -19
