Explanation:

The probability of getting a red apple is 30/50 or 60/100

Next you can either do 100-60 to find out the percentage on not getting a red apple is or find the probability of getting a green apple which is 20/50 or 40/100

Now simplify 20/50 is equivalent to 2/5 thus the answer is A
