surface area of a sphere is roughly 4 times the area of a circle with same readius
aka
SA=4pir^2
pi=3.14 for this problem
r=5

SA=4*3.14*5^2
SA=4*3.14*25
SA=100*3.14
SA=314

answer is 314 cm^2

The answer is 314cm².
The formula for the surface area of a sphere is: A=4πr².
A=4
×3.14×5²
First solve for exponents.
A=4
×3.14×25
Then multiply.
A=314cm
