3x + 5y = -1
2x - 5y = 16
5x = 15
5 5
x = 3
3x + 5y = -1
3(3) + 5y = -1
9 + 5y = -1
- 9 - 9
5y = -10
5 5
y = -2
(x, y) = (3, -2)
The answer is C.
