You need to figure out the cubic volume of each part separately.
For the big portion, multiply 6 x 4 x 12
For the smaller portion, multiply 8 x 4 x 4
Add the product of each part together

If you mean adding up all of those, then the answer is 30ft in total
6+4+12+8
