PLEASE HELP ASAP ITS FOR A FINAL

It is recommended that one fire extinguisher be available for every 6,000 square feet in a building. Our school
measures 150,000 square feet. Our school has 22 fire extinguishers. The custodian determines that we need more fire extinguishers in order for the entire building to be fully protected.

Answer these two questions and be certain to show and explain all your work.

How many fire extinguishers need to be purchased? What percent of the school is protected now?

1 The minimum number of fire extinguishers for Class A hazards for each floor of a building shall be determined by dividing the total floor area by the maximum area to be protected per extinguisher as determined by Table.
