A)\:l=99m\:B)w=65cm

A) Since we know the formula for the area of a rectangle, then we can do the following to find the length of this rectangular area: plug into the area formula the given data and solve for l:

\begin{gathered} A=l* w \\ l* w=A \\ \\ 88l=8712m^2 \\ \\ (88l)/(88)=(8712)/(88) \\ \\ l=99\:m \end{gathered}

B) On the other hand, we can also derive a formula for the Perimeter:

\begin{gathered} P=2(l+w) \\ \\ 2(l+w)=296 \\ \\ 2(83+w)=296 \\ \\ 166+2w=296 \\ \\ 2w=296-166 \\ \\ 2w=130 \\ \\ (2w)/(2)=(130)/(2) \\ \\ w=65\:cm \end{gathered}

Thus, these are the answers.
