The formula is H2O+CO2-->C6H12O6+O2 The plant needs water and carbon dioxide to make oxygen the air we breath and glucose the sugar that they eat and the sugar helps make the fruit we eat.

Basically the food chain expect its with plants. The sun, oxygen, water makes food for the plant which the plant makes food for us
