easy, since the y coordinat didn't change, y didn't move
only x moved
we just see how far x moved
-8 to -7
that is 1 distance

or ou could use distance formula

the distance between the points
(x1,y1) ad (x2,y2) is
D=
\sqrt{(x2-x1)^(2)+(y2-y1)^(2)}
points are
(-8,-2) and (-7,-2)
D=
\sqrt{(-7-(-8))^(2)+(-2-(-2))^(2)}
D=
\sqrt{(1)^(2)+(0)^(2)}
D=
√(1+0)
D=
√(1)
D=1

answe ris A
