D = √(2)a

where, a is the length of one side of the square.

D = 15 cm

then;


15 = √(2)a

Squaring both sides we have;


225 = 2a^2

Divide both sides by 2 we have;


112.5 = a^2

or


a^2 = 112.5


a = √(112.50)= 10.6066017

Therefore, the length of one side of the square (Rounded to the nearest tenth) is, 10.60 cm
