solve for y in th equation
-3x+6y+5=-7
-3x+6y=-12
6y=3x-12
y=1/2x-2
Since the y-intercept of this graph is -2, we can automatically say that point (0,-2) is on the graph.
Then you can just plug the x value of each point into the equation and see if you get the right y value.
to test point (6,-3) plug in x=6 to get (6/2)-2 which equals 1. since the y value when x=6 is 1 instead of -3, we can say that this point is not on the graph.
repeat that step for each of the given points.
when done correctly you should get that points (0,-2) and (8,2) are on the graph.
