*=multiplication /=division
6x+5y=-15
6x+5y+15=0
6x+15=-5y
6x/6 +15/6= -5y/6
x+2,5=-0,83333..y
0,83333..y= -1x-2,5 ---> That's your formula

solve for x
6x+5y=-15
subtract 6x from both sides
5y=-6x-15
divide both sides by 5
y=-6/5x-3
