How do you write the mixed number shown as a fraction greater than one

A mixed number is a Fraction like 7 and 1/2. You write the whole number and then the fraction. Hope this helped!

If the numerator < denominator, then the fraction < 1. If the numerator = denominator, then the fraction = 1. If the numerator > denominator,then the fraction > 1. The answer to the question is: Only an improperfraction greater than 1 can be written to a mixed number.
