This is exponential growth at a rate of 15% per year. Initially the population is 95. After t years, the population will be 95(1.15)^t. Note that 2023 is 8 years past 2015. The poulation in that year will be 95(1.15)^8, or 291 (rounded up to the nearest integer).

Answer:

approximately 291 people will there be in 2023.

Explanation:

In Florida there is increase of population 15% every year, This means we multiply the current population by 1.15.

Population in 2015 = 95

Now we calculate the growth of population :

= 95(1.15)
^(t)

Here t = time, which is 2023 - 2015 = 8 years

= 95 × 1.15
^(8)

= 95 × 3.05902286

= 290.607172 rounded to an integer it would be 291
