It brought people to and from you and was a convenient way to get transport for where you want to go. It also offered many jobs along a wide range of places. However it was a dirty and unhygeinic place to stay back then and was cold and dangerous on bad weather

It brought people to your city, and created bussiness along the tracks. It brought benifits, however it was dirty and many respectable people disagrred about it.
