The angle 7 is given as, m<7 = 131°.

The sum of angle 7 and angle 8 is, 180°.

Therefore,


m\angle7+m\angle8=180^(\circ)
131^(\circ)+m\angle8=180^(\circ)


m\angle8=49^(\circ)

The angle 8 is corresponding to angle 6 .

Since p is parallel to q and any pair of angles each of which is on the same side of one of two lines cut by a transversal and on the same side of the transversal are correspnding angles.

Hence , the angle m<6=m<8.

Thus, the value of m<6 is,


m\angle6=49^(\circ)
