When Charlie Robbins showed up at the pool for swim team tryouts, Marquise Dawson laughed out loud. "When did you learn to swim," he shouted, "yesterday?" Brent Harris laughed and high-fived Marquise. John Frederick gave them both a look and motioned for Charlie to join him at the other side of the pool. Being the new kid always had its challenges, but Charlie had moved many times and knew how to handle boys like Marquise and Brent.
