The perimeter of rectangle Z is equal to its area. Rectangle Y has the same perimeter as rectangle Z. The length of rectangle Y is 5 inches and the width is 3 inches. Explain how you can find length and width of rectangle Z.

The length and width of rectangle Z would be 4 inches as the width and 4 inches as the length. This is because first, you combine and find the total perimeter of Rectangle Y. The perimeter of rectangle y would be P=length + length + width + width, which is 16 inches. Rectangle Z has the same perimeter total as rectangle Y and rectangle Zs area is the same as rectangle Y. 4x4 is equal to 16 while to find the perimeter, 4+4+4+4 is also 16.
