the value of x-y is negative, and x and y are both positive. what can you conclude about the value of x and y

x-y = 3-7 = -2 but that is an example however that is also why the answer would be negative

You can conclude that x is less than y, because a smaller number - a bigger number is equal to a negative number. :)
