Answer:

A.) 33
units^(2)

Explanation:

You need to find the areas of all the shapes in the triangular prisms and the add them all up...

Front right triangle

A = b * h /2 ÷ 2

A = 2 * 3/2 ÷ 2

A = 3 ÷ 2

A = 3/2 or 1.5

The back triangle will be the same as the front triangle which is 1.5.

Rectangle at the back

A = b * h

A = 3/2 * 5

A = 7.5

The bottom rectangle

A = b * h

A = 5 * 2

A = 10

The top rectangle

A = b * h

A = 5 * 5/2

A = 12.5

Now that we have all the areas for all of the sides, we need to add them all up to get the surface areas for the triangular prism.

1.5 + 1.5 + 7.5 + 10 + 12.5 = 33

The surface area for the triangular prism is 33
units^(2)

Hope this helped!
