In what way were Japanese Americans treated differently than German Americans and Italian Americans?

During WWII Japanese were sent to internment camps because of their race. The American's were weary of anyone of Japanese decent after the bombing of pearl harbor. The Americans did not question the Germans and Itallians loyalty to the United States while all people with Japanese ancestors were seen as possible terrorist.
