easy peasy
pentagon
gon=sides
penta=5
5 sides
therefor 5 internal angles
regular pentagon's angles are all equal
therefor
if a=measure of each angle
5a=total=1440
solve for a
5a=1440
dividie btoh sides by 5
a=288
288 degrees

A pentagon has five (5) internal angles.
1/5 of 1440° is 288° .
But the sum of any pentagon's internal angles is 540°, not 1440°.
