Find the slope between the two points (-5,5) and (3,-5)

the formula is y2 minus y1 over x2 minus x1 or rise (y) over run (x). So you would do (-5) - (5) over (3) - (-5). that would equal -10 over 8, or -5/4 when you simplify. your slope would be -5/4
