Answer:

The coordinate of (2,y) is 5.85 such that the given point lies on line
y=(3)/(7)x+5.

Explanation:

Given : Equation of line
y=(3)/(7)x+5

We have to find the value of y coordinate of point (2,y) such that the given point lies on line
y=(3)/(7)x+5.

Since, the point lies on the line
y=(3)/(7)x+5

So (2,y) satisfies the equation of line
y=(3)/(7)x+5

Put x = 2 and y = y, we have,

y=(3)/(7)(2)+5

y=(6)/(7)+5

Take LCM, we have

LCM (7,1) = 7

y=(6+35)/(7)

y=(41)/(7)=5.85

Thus, The coordinate of (2,y) is 5.85 such that the given point lies on line
y=(3)/(7)x+5.
