It is 2/5. Because when you find the greatest common factor of 4 and 10 ( which is 2), you have to divide the numerator and denominator by it and your result will be 2/5.

the simplest form is 2/5 because both numerators and denominators can be divided by 2. this would make the fraction 2/5. since you cannot divide 2/5, the simplest form would be 2/5
