How do I use the distributive property to remove the parentheses?

-3 ( - 3 v + 4 y - 2 )

You multiply the number on the outside to the numbers inside the parentheses.
9v-12y+6

-3 (-3v + 4y -2)
-3*-3v = 9v
-3*4y = -12y
-3*-2 = 6

9v - 12y + 6 is the final answer. :)
