3 gallons + 14 cups
1 gallon = 4 quarts
1 qyart = 4 cups
3 gallons = ? cups
3 × 4 = 12
3 gallons = 12 quarts
12 × 4 = 48
48 + 14 = 62
The class made 62 cups of jam in total.

2=8
3=12
1 quart = 4 cups
12 quarts = 48 cups
+ 14 cups. = 48 + 14 =
62
