The parent graph equation is:

y=\sqrt[]{x}

When x=0, y=0

The given graph,

y=\sqrt[]{x}-2

Here at x=0

y=-2

Thus the graph shift to negative y-axis.

The answer is:

B.The graph is a vertical shift of the parent function 2 units down.
