Answer:

37=-3+5(x+6)

or, 37=-3+5x+30

or, 37=5x+27

or, 37-27=5x

Answer:

x=2

Explanation:

37=-3+5(x+6)

distribute the 5 to (x+6)

37=-3+5x+30

add the -3 and 30

37=5x+27

Subtract 27 from both sides

37-27=5x-27

10=5x

Divide both sides by 5 to get your answer

10/5=5x/5

2=x

x=2
