Area = 60 + 8x + x^2

Then

For x=1 inch ,. Area of mat is = 69 inches^2

For x=2 inch , Are of mat is = 80 inches^2

NOW FIND COSTS

For white color mat

W COST

1.0 in. 69x (0.03) = $2.07

2.0 in. 80x(0.03) = $2.40

Fof black color mat

B COST

1.0 in 69x (0.05)= $3.45

2.0 in. 80x( 0.05) = $4.0
