The volume is 652.57.
V=
\pi
r^(2)h
Since you have the diameter, you can just divide it by 2 to get the radius (diameter is radius*2). 8.5/2=4.25
V=
\pi
4.25^(2)(11.5)
V=
\pi(18.0625)(11.5)
V=
\pi(207.71875)
We can assume pi is 3.14, and then multiply.
V=652.56769...
or V=652.57

volume=heiht times area of base
base=circle
area of circle=pir^2

volume=hpir^2

diameter=2r
diametr/2=r
diameter=8.5
find radius
r=8.5/2
r=4.25

h=11.5
subsitute

v=11.5 times pi times 4.25^2
v=11.5 times pi times 18.0625
v=pi times 207.71875
round to hundreth
v=207.72pi in^3

volue=207.72pi in^3
if you want to aprox pi to 3.14 and solve for that then
v=207.72 times 3.14
v=652.24

so
v=207.72pi in^3 or
v=652.24 in^3 aprox (both aer eequatal)
