Can someone answer this please

3. Michael says he can move ABCDE onto A"B"C"D"E" with one transformation by translating ABCDE diagonally so that it moves 8 units up and 10 units right. Is he correct? Explain why or why not.

Answer:

Yes, he is correct

Explanation:

if you translate each letter ABCDE to A"B"C"D"E" exactly how he stated it turns out right. For example, C just go 8 squares up and then 10 to the right and do the same for the rest.

Answer:

Michael is incorrect; The shape would have to be flipped at some point, seeing as point B on ADCDE is on the bottom of the shape, whereas point B" on A"B"C"D"E" is on the top of the shape.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

Explanation:

Wait a sec... I'm Michael, so am I right or am I wrong...? (Big confuse)
