it should be jar one because clay absorbs water which in terms mean the water lvl will be smaller in jar 2. jar one will have the higher amount of water in it because it's just soil.

I believe Jar 1 will have a higher water level because Jar 2 contains clay, which will most likely absorb most of the water.
