King David was a man after god's own heart, he brought Israel through many wars while still following god. Solomon also was a follower of god like his father, he had much wisdom and also later built the temple

-David was an Israelite king, the successor of Saul and second legitimate monarch of the Kingdom of Israel. He unified the Israelite territory and expanded it.

He's important as the ancestor of the Messiah because of many Old Testament prophecies indicated that the Messiah would descend from David's line.

-Solomon was the third and last monarch of the united kingdom of Israel, he reigned over an extensive territory for almost four decades, approximately between 965 and 928 BC.

During the reign of Solomon, the first Temple of Jerusalem was built and he is the author of the biblical texts Book of Ecclesiastes, Book of Proverbs and Song of Songs.

He inherited a considerable empire conquered by his father King David, he also had great wealth and wisdom.
