order from least to greatest:-

2,3,4,8,9

Subtract highest by lowest term.

Highest term = 9
Lowest term = 2

9 - 2 = 7
Range = 7

The range of the data set 8, 4, 9, 2, 3 is 7.

The range is 7. Here's how i found it. First i ordered it from least to greatest. Like this:
2,3,4,8,9
Then i subtract the lowest number from the highest number:
9-2=7
So the answer is 7. I hope i helped!
