Peachy represent the good side of British Empire. He always obeys the rules and very kind. He is a selfless man that he always thinks of others’ welfare before himself. Meanwhile, Dravot depicts the bad side of British Empire. He never follows the rules; his decisions are always based on his own point-of-view. His desire to be the only one ruling the country and possess power made the empire slowly fall to the ground.

Carnehan speaks and represent the benefit of the British Empire. He generally takes after the guidelines and would be a decent lord, he helps other people and doesn't consider himself. Dravot doesn't put stock or believe in rules, he settles on choices in view of his own conclusion. He gradually slaughters the empire, transforms it into an awful region.
