What is the rate of change of the equation y=2x+2 plz

Okay, so the formula for this is y = mx + b.

y is your answer, m is your average rate of change, otherwise known as your slope, and b is your y-intercept.

And the equation is : y = 2x + 2

y is still your answer. 2 is your average rate of change, and 2 is your y-intercept. so that would make your average rate of change 2.

The rate of change would be the 2 in 2x
