Here is the formula for area:
For a rectangle it is...
Area=length×width
For a circle its....
Area=π×r^2
This following shape represents a rectangle so put the numbers in the equation:
3×4×3×4
Which rounded to equal....
26 squared inches

26 Square Inches.
If you find the area of the two missing fragments, which are 3 in. by 4 in., you can make the equation 2(3 x 4)= 24. Find the area of the whole 5 in. by 10 in. which is equal to 50 in. Subtract 24 from 50 and you get 26.
