From the figure given we can find the coordinate of E:


E=(3,-3)

And we want to apply the following transformation:


(x,y)\rightarrow(x,(1)/(3)y)

So then we need to do the following in order to find the coordinate of E'


E^(\prime)=(x=3,y=(1)/(3)(-3)=-1)

So the answer for htis case would be:


E^(\prime)=(3,-1)
