A and D are the two that are true.

Since the Y-intercept is 8, that would mean it is 8 units above the x-axis
So A is one of your answers

B is not possible as we already determined that the point is 8 units above the x-axis

C is not correct either because the point is on the left side of the origin not the right side

D is correct as it is in the 2nd quadrant

E is not possible as we have a "x-axis" number of -2
