Well to know, just plug in the numbers!
(2) (4) - 3 < 4
8 - 3 < 4
5 < 4
4 is not greater than 5 so (4,3) can
NOT
be your solution

Sub the point into the inequality
2(4)-3<4
8-3<4
5<4
Therefore, no, it is not a solution because 5 is not less than 4
