$common \: ratio \: = ((n + 1)th \: term)/(nth \: term) \\ aslike \: here \: \\ ( - 6)/(3) = (12)/( - 6) = ( - 24)/(12) = - 2 \\ hence \: \\ - 2 \: is \: the \: respective \: common \: ratio$
