They are considered free trade association. An alliance that merges Canada, Mexico and the United States into a single market and together with an alliance that promotes trade among its member countries in Europe. Strategic Alliance a partnership that is formed to creative competitive advantage on a worldwide basis, this is a type of alliance.

These are trade alliances. When companies between these countries trade they have to worry less about customs and importing and things like that and crossing the border is much easier because the goal is to boost the economy of all signatory parties.
