You have 3 aircraft in your hangar, one is 25' long, the next 40' long, and the last 35' long. What is the average length of these aircraft?

first, add them up and get 40+35+25= 100. Then, divide it all by 3.

Hope this helps!

First, you add up the lengths, 25 + 35 + 45 = 100
then, you divide by the number of objects (in this case, three)
100÷3= about 33.33
so, 33.33 is the average length of the aircraft
